Vestry Meeting
The Vestry of Saint John's will meet on Tuesday, 8 December at 7:00PM


Parish Meeting and Holiday Party

The Vestry has called a meeting of the Parish of Saint John’s for Sunday, 13 December for the purpose of electing persons to Vestry, Convention Delegates, and Alternates.

The meeting will begin in the Nave following the closing hymn and continue in the Great Hall with our annual Holiday Party. A Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Parish House.

Want to remember someone this Christmastide? Look for green 2009 Christmas Poinsettia cards in the Narthex and the Great Hall. Please turn in your requests to the office by Sunday, 13 December 2009


THE GIVING TREE supporting McKemie Place

A safe place and a place of hope for abused and homeless women.

Needs: Everyday essentials including Toiletries, Personal Care Products, Games, Paper Supplies, Twin Sheet sets, Blankets, New Underwear, Boots, Clothing.

Take a Candy Cane from the Tree. Purchase your items and bring them to the Great Hall and place them, unwrapped, in the collection box by the tree. Please make your contributions no later than 21 December.

If you would prefer, you may make a contribution by making your check payable to McKemie Place. Send it to PO Box 9082, Mobile, AL 36691.
 


McKemie Place
Saint John’s will be feeding the women of McKemie Place on Wednesday, 30 December. Gather at the Church by 5:30 to caravan to the house. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the Parish House
