"The Women of the Church" is sort of a short-hand for three groups in the parish, The Daughters of the King (DOK), The Episcopal Church Women (ECW), and the Episcopal Ladies of the Night (ELON).

The Daughters of the King (National website) are devoted to prayer, service and evangelism in the furtherance of Christ's Kingdom. The DOK monthly meeting is the second Monday of the month at 12:00PM.

The ECW and ELON are actually two parts of the same group, just with different meeting times. The ECW meets during the day and ELON meets in the evening. This split accommodates those who cannot attend daytime meetings and those who are uncomfortable being out in the evening.
