The Vestry is the governing body of a parish and is elected by the members of the parish. At Saint John's, vestry members serve three-year terms. Officers of the Vestry are the Senior Warden, the Junior Warden, the Treasurer and the Clerk. The wardens are required to be members of the Vestry.

At its meeting on 30 November 2008, the parish elected three new vestry persons to three year terms and one person to fill an unexpired term of two years. At the Vestry meeting on 13 January 2009, the Rector's appointment of  Senior Warden was ratified and election of Junior Warden and Treasurer were conducted.
